Gregory M. Priest

Gregory M. Priest is President and Chief Executive Officer, and a Member
of the Board of Directors at SmartForce, formerly CBT Group PLC. He was
named SmartForce’s President and CEO in December 1998. From January 1998
to December 1998, Mr. Priest was President and CEO of Knowledge Well,
which has since been acquired by SmartForce. Prior to joining Knowledge
Well, He was SmartForce’s Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of
Finance. Prior to joining CBT Group in 1995, Mr. Priest was an Attorney
with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, a Silicon Valley-based law firm
focused on business and transactional representation of emerging growth
technology companies. Mr. Priest was elected to partnership at Wilson,
Sonsini in 1995. Prior to Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Mr. Priest
served as a law clerk to Justice Thurgood Marshall on the U.S. Supreme
Court and to Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg on the U.S. Court of Appeals for
the District of Columbia Circuit. Mr. Priest graduated first in his
class from the Stanford Law School. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi
Beta Kappa from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International
Affairs at Princeton University.
