GEORGE THARAKAN is a Portfolio Manager and Director of Research at Santa
Barbara Asset Management. He was previously a Senior Vice President at
Vantis Capital and, prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at
Roxbury Capital Management and a Senior Design Engineer for Intel
Corporation. Mr. Tharakan graduated from the Indian Institute of
Technology with honors, has an MS in Computer Engineering from the
University of Illinois and received an MBA in Finance with honors from
the Anderson School of Business (UCLA).
