Garrett S. Nelson, Vice President, has been with BB&T Capital Markets since August 2010 and follows the diversified mining sector. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Research Analyst with Davenport & Company, LLC, and he also held positions as Proprietary Equity Trader with E*Trade Financial Corporation, Research Associate with World Bank Group and Sales Representative with SNL Financial. Mr. Nelson received bachelor’s degrees in economics and history from the University of Virginia.
