Fred T. Grant

FRED T. GRANT, JR. joined Ryan’s Family Steak Houses, Inc. in January
1990 as Director of Finance and was promoted to Vice President – Finance
in April 1990. In October 2000, he was named Senior Vice President ‘
Finance. Prior to joining Ryan’s, he spent nine years working at Big
Five public accounting firms, leaving KPMG Peat Marwick as a Senior
Audit Manager to join Ryan’s. Mr. Grant worked on the Ryan’s audit in
addition to a variety of healthcare and US and international
manufacturing clients while at KPMG Peat Marwick. Other work experience
includes three years with Barnett Banks, Inc. in Florida and one year
with a textile manufacturer in the Greenville, SC, area. He is a CPA and
has a BA in Finance from Furman University.
