Edwin Lugo

EDWIN LUGO II has been a Portfolio Manager at Brown Capital Management,
Inc., since February 2002, and co-manages the Brown Capital
International Equity Fund. He has over 10 years of investment
experience. He began his career in 1990 as the co-Founder of C.L.
Trading Inc, a commodity trading advisor, co-managing a futures-based
hedge fund. In 1996 he joined Templeton Investment Counsel. As a Vice
President and International Portfolio Manager/Research Analyst, he was
responsible for researching various countries and global industries,
while managing institutional and high net worth portfolios. He earned a
BS degree in Finance/International Business from Northeastern University
and an MBA in Finance from the Columbia Graduate School of Business. He
is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a member of the Baltimore
Council of Foreign Affairs and an alumnus of the Robert A. Toigo
Foundation.
