E. Chip Erwin

E. JAMES (CHIP) ERWIN III is a Vice President and Senior Investment
Manager with Comerica Incorporated. He is responsible for allocating and
investing high net-worth personal investment portfolios and is Manager
of Private Banking tax-focused investment products, as well as Co-
Manager of the Defensive Growth Model Portfolio. He is a member of the
Private Banking Investment Policy Committee. Mr. Erwin joined Comerica
Bank in 1995, following 10 years in investments and commercial lending,
including six years in the large corporate banking group at the Northern
Trust Bank in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to joining Comerica, Mr. Erwin
was with a Southfield-based investment management firm. He earned a BA
degree in Political Science and an MBA in Finance from the University of
Michigan. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr.
Erwin is also the co-Founder of Harmonize for Hope, an organization that
funds Muscular Dystrophy research.
