Darrell H. Hughes

DARRELL H. HUGHES, Chairman, President and CEO of Cognigen Networks,
Inc., has more than 30 years’ experience within Internet,
telecommunications, and sales environments, with 18 years of senior
executive experience within top-tier positions of responsibility,
driving organizations which have generated up to $65 million in
incremental annual sales revenue and maintained $250 million in client
relationships. With a consistent record of success in general
management, he has led teams of 10 to 1,300 employees to annual results
which have exceeded objectives by as much as 50%. Mr. Hughes excels in
“change management” consultations within technology and complex
relationship environments. He earned his Master’s in Management from the
University of Redlands and has served as an adjunct professor both at
Golden Gate University in San Francisco and at Northwest College in
Kirkland, Washington. Courses facilitated range from “Broadband
Technologies” and “Telecommunications Consulting” to “Leadership” and
“Ethics in Business.” Prior to his current position of President and CEO
of Cognigen Networks, Inc.’ an Internet facilitated sales organization
with 145,000 agents and near 100% annual growth ‘ Mr. Hughes was the
Vice President of Sales and Service for AAA Washington. Prior to his
arrival at AAA Washington, Mr. Hughes served in various capacities
within the Northwest following his retirement from GTE in 1993 as
General Manager of Business Sales and Service, a $300 million business
unit. In his current position, Mr. Hughes continues to choreograph and
expand the functionalities available within Cognigen’s web-based sales
channel and its wholly owned subsidiary Cognigen Switching Technologies,
an FCC 214 national and international communications carrier located in
central California. Through the unification of the skills presented
within these two divisions, expansion into custom service offerings for
business clients and affiliate program development is a major focus.
