Daniel M. Arnold is an Associate Director in the Research Department of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. His research coverage focuses on regional banks and thrifts. Mr. Arnold joined the firm in 2004 from Prudential Equity Group, LLC, where he focused on life insurers and asset managers. In 2010 the Financial Times/StarMine recognized Mr. Arnold as the number one analyst for stock picking in the commercial bank sector. Mr. Arnold is also frequently quoted in media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and American Banker. Mr. Arnold holds a B.S. in applied economics and management from Cornell University.
