Dan Niles

DAN NILES joined Lehman Brothers in 2000 as a Managing Director and is
responsible for research in PC hardware, semiconductor devices and
digital media infrastructure. He was previously a Managing Director at
Robertson Stephens, where he held similar responsibilities. From 1990 to
1994 he was an associate in Robertson’s Mergers & Acquisitions group.
Before starting his Wall Street career, he was an Engineer with Digital
Equipment Corporation. Over the past two years, Mr. Niles has been
recognized in eight categories in the Institutional Investor All-America
Research Team survey. In 2000 he ranked Number Two in both the
semiconductor and PC hardware sectors and was named among ‘Who’s The
Best’ for stock picking, useful & timely calls, and earnings estimates.
He was also recognized in The Wall Street Journal’s 1999 and 2000 All-
Star Analyst surveys, and by both the Greenwich Associates and Reuters
surveys in 2001. Mr. Niles received a BS in Systems Engineering from
Boston University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford
University.
