Brock Vandervliet

Brock Vandervliet is Vice President and an analyst at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Vandervliet joined Lehman Brothers in July 2000 and was initially
responsible for coverage of the smaller mid-cap banks, up to $7 billion
in market capitalization. In this position, he was identified as ‘Best
Up and Comer’ in the 2001 poll by Institutional Investor magazine and
was ranked as a runner-up in the Mid-Cap Bank II-category in the 2002
poll. He was elevated in July 2002 to cover the diversified banks, trust
banks and securities processors including Citigroup and JP Morgan Chase.
Immediately prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Vandervliet was an
analyst at Salomon Smith Barney from October 1999. Before joining
Salomon, he was a member of the equity research department at Keefe,
Bruyette & Woods, a bank stock boutique, from April 1996. Initially, he
began as an associate in support of an analyst covering Midwest banks
and thrifts before covering small-cap banks in the region independently.
Mr. Vandervliet began his career in New York, spending over two years at
the Loan Pricing Corporation, a commercial bank consulting firm and
subsidiary of Reuters. He received a BA from Dickinson College which he
attended on a four-year Army ROTC scholarship and an MBA and a Master’s
in Public Policy from the University of Maryland. A native of
Connecticut, he currently resides in Manhattan.
