BENJAMIN C. HALLIBURTON is a founder, Managing Director and Chief
Investment Officer of Tradition Capital Management, LLC. He has over 17
years’ investment experience, the majority with Brundage, Story and Rose
BS&R’s Director of Research, where he was responsible for overseeing the
firm’s equity selection process. He was a member of the firm’s three
person Investment Policy Committee. He also designed, developed and
managed the firm’s successful Disciplined Growth Strategy. Mr.
Halliburton’s outstanding contribution to BS&R was recognized with an
ownership position in 1997, making him the firm’s youngest principal.
Mr. Halliburton started his investment career with Merrill Lynch and was
a founder and principal of Pantheon Investments. He holds the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation and earned an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School
of Business in 1990, where he was distinguished as a Fuqua Scholar. Mr.
Halliburton earned a BS degree from Vanderbilt University in three
years, graduating magna cum laude in 1985, and graduated from the
McCallie School as Salutatorian.
