Alfred A. Pease

ALFRED A. PEASE is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of
the Board of Perceptron, Inc., a global company that designs,
manufactures and markets information-based solutions for process
improvement. He came to Perceptron with over 25 years of technical
leadership and management experience in a wide spectrum of
organizations, including entrepreneurial business, Fortune 500
companies, National Laboratories and the military. Before taking over
Perceptron, Mr. Pease was the Product Line Director for High Speed
Networks at Advance Micro Devices in Sunnyvale, California, where he led
a multidisciplinary team of 75 engineers and technicians through
aggressive growth. Before joining AMD, Mr. Pease had a 12-year tenure as
the Founder and CEO of IBS Computer Corporation, an early pioneer in
multiprocessor architectures and desktop client-server systems. He
served as a Physicist and Project Leader at the Lawrence Livermore
National Laboratory, where he led the development of the laser and
optical systems for the first Advanced Laser Isotope Separation process.
He served for nine years as a U.S. Naval officer and Navy strike-fighter
pilot. Mr. Pease graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis,
Maryland, with a BS in Physics. He holds an MS in Physics from the U.S.
Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, and an MS in
Aeronautical Systems from the University of West Florida in Pensacola.
