INVESTMENT BANKING IN ISRAEL: LEONARD ROSEN – LEHMAN BROTHERS

LEonard g. ROSEN is Head of Lehman Brothers' Israel Investment Banking business and a Managing Director in Lehman Brothers' Global Technology Investment Banking group. Lehman Brothers has been the predominant global investment bank in Israel for many years. Since joining Lehman Brothers in 1994, Mr. Rosen has had responsibility for numerous equity and fixed income financings and M&A transactions, such as multiple highly successful convertible debt offerings for Comverse Technology and for Teva Pharmaceutical. This also includes Israel's largest corporate financing ever, initial public offerings and/or follow-on equity offerings for Verint Systems, Research in Motion, Ulticom, Deltathree, Internet Gold and Tecnomatix, M&A transactions for Comverse Technology, Teva Pharmaceuticals and Orbotech, high-yield debt transactions for RSL Comunications and Ormat Industries, and multiple fixed income transactions for the Government of Israel and the Israel Electric Corporation. Such transactions include Israel's first-ever investment grade corporate debt issuance. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Rosen was an attorney with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
