J. Mike Stice, Ed.D., was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Access Midstream Partners, L.P. — formerly Chesapeake Midstream Partners, L.P. — in September 2009. Previously, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Chesapeake Midstream Development, L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy Corporation, and as Senior Vice President, Natural Gas Projects of Chesapeake since November 2008. Prior to joining Chesapeake Midstream Development, L.P., Mr. Stice spent 27 years with ConocoPhillips and its predecessor companies, where he most recently served as President of ConocoPhillips Qatar, responsible for the development, management and construction of natural gas liquefaction and regasification projects. While at ConocoPhillips, he also served as Vice President of Global Gas LNG, as President of Gas and Power, and as President of Energy Solutions, in addition to other roles in ConocoPhillips’ upstream and midstream business units. Mr. Stice serves on the boards of directors of the Southern Gas Association and for U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc. He also serves as Chairman of the foundation board at the Oklahoma Wesleyan University and on the board of visitors for both the College of Engineering and the Mewbourne School of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He further serves on the board of advisors for the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University.
