Significant Replacement Cycle and Consolidation Expected in Health Care IT

Leo Carpio is a Senior Research Analyst at HM Global, LLC, covering the health care information technology and services sector. Mr. Carpio joined the firm from Caris & Company, where he spent five years covering the health care IT and services sector. Prior to Caris & Company, Mr. Carpio worked at Prudential Equity Group LCC, where he spent seven years covering numerous health care sectors. Before joining Prudential Equity Group LLC, Mr. Carpio worked at MetLife, where his coverage extended to consumer, commercial and mortgage finance companies. Previously, Mr. Carpio was an Associate in Merrill Lynch’s finance department. Mr. Carpio began his career with GE Capital in the municipal finance insurance division. Mr. Carpio holds a B.A. in management from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and a MBA in corporate strategy and finance from the University of Michigan.
