Ross, Edward H.
Edward H. Ross has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fidus Investment Corporation since the company’s initial public offering in June 2011. Mr. Ross is also Chief Executive Officer of Fidus Investment Advisors, LLC, the company’s investor adviser. Mr. Ross has more than 20 years of debt and equity capital investing experience with lower middle market companies. In 2005, Mr. Ross cofounded Fidus Capital, LLC, an investment adviser firm focused on providing capital solutions to the lower middle market. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Ross was a Managing Director and the Head of the Chicago office for Allied Capital. Prior to joining Allied Capital, Mr. Ross co-founded Middle Market Capital, a merchant banking group of Wachovia Securities and its predecessor, First Union Securities, Inc.
