STEVEN M. GOLDEN founded coolsavings.com inc. in 1994 and has been
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 1996. Mr. Golden is the
company's strategic visionary and has been responsible for its
considerable growth over the last six years and will continue to set the
direction of the company to ensure the goals and objectives set forth
are met. Prior to founding coolsavings, Mr. Golden spent three years as
a Financial Consultant at Smith Barney. Earlier in his career, Mr.
Golden was the Founder and President of Land Data Network, one of the
nation's first online property information systems, providing tax roll
and assessment information for various counties in the State of
Michigan. Land Data provided printable vacant land directories with
county maps simplifying an otherwise time consuming and difficult to
assemble process. Prior to Land Data, Mr. Golden served as an Executive
at his family-owned steel company in Michigan. Mr. Golden received his
