Robert Gillam – Mckinley Capital Management Inc

ROBERT B. GILLAM is President and Chief Investment Officer of McKinley Capital Management Inc., a registered investment advisory firm that he founded in 1990. Mr. Gillam has 31 years of experience in the financial services industry, including brokerage, investment banking, asset allocation and global investment management. As President, Mr. Gillam sets firm policy and long-term strategy. As Chief Investment Officer, he heads the Investment Management Team, directing investment strategy and overall portfolio management. Since 1970, Mr. Gillam has managed individual, corporate, and public investment accounts, and today supervises client assets in excess of $5 billion. Alaska's Governor appointed Mr. Gillam to the State Investment Advisory Committee in 1975. In 1982 he became a General Partner of Boettcher and Company, an investment banking firm, where he co-founded the firm's Managed Accounts Department and selected managers for high net worth individual and institutional accounts. In 1983 he became an Allied Member of the New York Stock Exchange. In 1988 Mr. Gillam began to incorporate modern portfolio theory via quantitative computer models into active portfolio management.
