Matthew O’malley – Glovia International

MATTHEW O'MALLEY is President, Chief Executive Officer, and member of the Board of Glovia International. Under Mr. O'Malley's leadership, Glovia International is establishing itself as a leader in business-to- business e-Commerce solutions for the global digital marketplace. Mr. O'Malley has over 20 years of management, business development, strategic planning, and technical experience in high-tech industries. Prior to joining Glovia, he served as President and CEO of PROIV Technologies, Inc., which owns, develops and distributes rapid application development tools used to build high quality industrial- strength web-enabled business applications. Mr. O'Malley also held key executive management positions at several companies including Sperry Univac and McDonnell Information Systems. In these capacities he played a crucial role in transitioning businesses to state of the market open technologies, establishing strategic alliances with international organizations such as Sun Microsystems and Motorola, and forging corporate partnerships. Having broad experience in Asian business matters, he was also instrumental in building strong strategic relationships with Fujitsu in the Far East. This relationship allowed him to be the key player in the formation of Glovia International, a joint venture between McDonnell Information Systems and Fujitsu, in June 1997, and the subsequent buy out of Glovia by Fujitsu in March 2000.
