Joseph W. Pepper – Oec Medical Systems Inc (oxe)

JOSEPH W. PEPPER was named President and CEO of OEC Medical Systems, Inc. effective May 15, 1997. Pepper came to OEC with more than 20 years of broad management experience and has served in a number of key management, operations, sales development and planning roles. Prior to OEC, Pepper held increasing senior management positions at Ohmeda, Inc., the world's leading supplier of anesthesia delivery equipment. As President of Ohmeda's Medical Devices Division, he was responsible for $400 million in worldwide sales. From 1992 to 1995, Pepper was the President of the Medical Systems Division and from 1988 to 1992, he was Vice President in charge of the Monitoring Business Unit. Prior to joining The BOC Group, Pepper held engineering management positions at General Electric and the Electric Power Research Institute. A native of Florida, Joe Pepper holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard, a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering Sciences from Florida State University.
