Dennis Wood – C-mac Industries Inc (cms.t)

DENNIS WOOD is the President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of C- MAC Industries Inc., a publicly traded company on the Toronto and Montreal Exchanges. Mr. Wood was one of the seed capital investors in C- MAC Industries Inc., a world leader in the manufacture of fully integrated electronic systems for the telecommuniations, automotive, computer equipment, avionics and instrumentation markets. C-MAC has more than 30 facilities in over 8 countries world-wide including Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Belgium, China and India. During Mr. Wood's tenure, the Company's sales have grown from approximately $500,000 U.S. in 1986 to over $800,000,000 U.S. in 1999. Throughout his career Mr. Wood has been an entrepreneur in various fields of business, including wallcoverings and paint. It was very early in his life that he realized that he was meant to lead not to follow. He has been honored in Canada with many distinctions, including Canada's highest honor, The Order of Canada. His contributions, financial and otherwise, to the communities where C-MAC is situated are renown. He sits on many Boards, for both small and large companies, and is associated with many philanthropic societies.
