CHARLES (CHUCK) D. WILKINSON, CFA, is the sole owner and founder of
Langford Investment Company, an investment advisory firm located in
Jackson, Mississippi. He has over 20 years experience managing both
equity and fixed-income portfolios. Chuck graduated from the Air Force
Academy, Colorado Springs, CO in 1966. After a 5-year stint in the Air
Force, he continued his education at Emory University, Atlanta, GA,
where he earned his M.B.A. in Finance and Investments. In 1973, he
joined the Investment Department at First National Bank, Mobile, AL as a
Trust Investment Portfolio Manager. In 1976, he was hired by the Public
Employees' Retirement System of Mississippi ("PERS") as Chief Investment
Officer. After ten years with PERS, Chuck founded Langford Investment
Company. Using a generalist approach, Langford manages securities
portfolios for individuals, corporations, and qualified retirement
plans. Activities outside the workplace have included President of the
Mississippi Society of Financial Analysts, State Treasurer of the
Mississippi Air Force Association, and a member of the national Board of
Directors for the American Contract Bridge League. Profile
