Tony Marnell

TONY MARNELL II is the founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of
Marnell Corrao Associates, Inc. which is acclaimed internationally for
its design and construction of the world’s most recognizable resort
hotel and gaming properties. Through his efforts, he has propelled
Marnell Corrao Associates to be acknowledged as the largest and
preeminent design-build firm specializing in the hotel and resort
industry in the world. In 1986, Rio Hotel & Casino, Inc. RHC) was
formed and Tony served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer of the company and its wholly owned subsidiary Rio Suite Hotel &
Casino until its acquisition by Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: HET)
on January 1, 1999. Prior to forming Marnell Corrao Associates in 1982
Tony was employed by Corrao Construction Company, Inc.; Zuni
Construction Company; Moffitt & McDaniel Architects; and Alfred
Caldwell, Architect. Mr. Marnell also held the position of Chairman of
the Board at the Rio Hotel & Casino, Inc. Tony is a registered Architect
in the States of Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia,
Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York,
Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Michigan, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Rhode
Island, Missouri, and Montana. He is certified by the National Council
of Architectural Registration Boards, Trustee Emeritus of the University
of Nevada Las Vegas Foundation Board, and a member of Duck’s Unlimited
and NIAF.Tony has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture from the
University of Southern California and an Honorary Masters Degree in
Modular Building.
