Mr. Groh: Of the 15 names I follow, 11 of them are aerospace-related, mostly focused on the commercial side.
TWST: What's gone on so far this year from a business perspective?
Mr. Groh: On the order front, Boeing (BA) and Airbus are continuing to record
orders at a breakneck pace. As of the end of July, Boeing had tallied orders for
roughly 700 aircraft, up about 32% from last year. Airbus was at around 690 at
the end of July, up over 240%. If we annualize those numbers, we'll exceed the
order flow that we had last year and the year prior. In the last quarter of the
year the comparisons become pretty tough as both Airbus and Boeing had big
fourth quarters last year. Nevertheless we're looking forward to surprisingly
strong order flow for the third year in a row.
