Mr. Karatz: KB Home is one of the largest homebuilders in the United States and France. The company will deliver over 27,000 homes and record revenues approaching 6 billion in fiscal 2003. Our business stretches from the coast of California through the southern part of the United States, to both Florida coasts and up through Georgia and North Carolina.
TWST: In which areas do you see the greatest growth potential?
Mr. Karatz: Our focus is on continuing to develop the Southeast,
which will represent a business this year of approximately 600
million. We believe that the Southeast will continue to be the
fastest-growing region in our company next year.
TWST: I think Georgia is an important state for you. Would most
of the activity be focused on Atlanta?
Mr. Karatz: Yes.
