TWST: Would you give us a brief historical sketch of the company and a picture of the things you are doing at the present time?
Mr. Berning: Pemstar was launched 12 years ago in the EMS industry with a vision of concept-to-customer solutions. Our primary focus is to assist our customers in developing their product, developing the automation test for the product, manufacturing it, fulfilling it, and sending it to their end customer. That model has been and is very successful for our customers and ourselves. We believe that we have the best implementation of this full-service concept of anyone in our industry. Our model has evolved over the 12 years as the technology industries have changed. Our primary focus is in markets that we would characterize as high-complexity and high-mix. They are the type of projects that require a high level of engineering and process engineering support for launch and manufacture of products.

TWST: Which industries are you referring to?
Mr. Berning: The types of industries we support are the industrial markets, which consist of military, aerospace, instrumentation, and semiconductor capital equipment; the medical markets, the high-end server and storage markets, and high-end optical/communications.
