TWST: Would you give us a brief historical sketch of the company and a picture of the things you are doing right now?
Mr. Long: INX was founded as a generalist IT solutions provider and reseller of IT technology. In May 2000 we sold our generalist IT solutions provider business, which at the time provided about 90% of our total revenue, at which time we began building the current organization. We believed at that time that there would be a convergence of voice and data communications technology. Cisco had recently entered the voice communications business and we believed that the IP network platform would become the primary platform for all communications within large enterprise organizations, including voice communications. We have since grown the business substantially, at rates of growth in excess of 50% per year, to about $107 million in total revenue last year, serving 15 metropolitan markets currently, and planning to expand further. So today INX is a network infrastructure professional services company focused on delivering best-of-class Cisco-centric network infrastructure and voice over IP solutions to enterprise class organizations.

TWST: I believe you founded the company some years ago.
Mr. Long: I did. In 1983, in the early days of the computer technology boom, I started the company as a generalist IT solutions provider, providing all types of information technology equipment, software and services to business customers. We grew to over $200 million in revenues, operating in five markets in Texas, went public in 1997, and then sold the primary business operations in May 2000, when I decided to transform the company to focus purely in this space that we are in today.
