TWST: Would you give us a brief historical sketch of the company and a picture of the things you are doing right now?
Mr. Shanfelter: MasTec is one of North America's leading specialty contractors and provides network support for energy, telecom, cable, and satellite companies. We provide a variety of services from digging the trench, to climbing the poles, to installing the final product in consumer homes.

TWST: Would you give us a sketch of the competitive landscape? What differentiates you from competitors?
Mr. Shanfelter: We have many competitors in each of the markets where we serve, both from a national and local perspective. However, MasTec has been able to step up and handle larger projects for larger clients such as BellSouth, Verizon, AT&T, Florida Power and Light, TXU, DirecTV and others. MasTec provides these services in multiple states and multiple locations with multi-year contracts. That is the difference between MasTec and some of our competitors.
