TWST: We would like to begin with a brief historical sketch of
Lightbridge and a picture of the things you are doing now. Mr. O'Brien: Lightbridge is a leading e-commerce analytics and
decisioning company providing technology services to manage secure
customer transactions. There are actually two businesses currently. One
is the legacy business, which we call Telecom Decisioning Services, and
it's essentially a credit decisioning analytics business using
sophisticated analytic techniques to provide wireless subscriber
qualification, risk assessment, fraud screening, consulting services and
contact center services to telecom and other companies. Lightbridge
acquired a payment processing company in 2004 that operates under the
brand Authorize.Net, and this business offers a transaction processing
gateway system that allows businesses to securely authorize, settle, and
manage credit cards, electronic checks and other electronic payment
transactions online. TWST: Which is larger right now? Mr. O'Brien: The payment processing business became the largest of the
two segments earlier this year.
