TWST: Would you give us a brief historical sketch of the company and a
picture of what you are doing at the present time?
Mr. Anastasi: Captaris is a publicly traded software company focused on
the enterprise software space. Our primary focus is to be the leading
provider of software products that automate paper and other document
processes. We have three different products that allow us to help many
companies manage the movement of their documents and the processes
around those. We have a very large customer base, consisting of tens of
thousands of customers including all of the Fortune 100 companies as
well as a large number of the Global 2000 that use our technology
worldwide. TWST: Would you describe several of your products and services?
Mr. Anastasi: As stated, we have three product lines, but we also
combine those products and use their capabilities together. Our core
product is called RightFax, which is the proven market leader in fax
server and document delivery software. It delivers the most reliable and
robust fax software solutions to integrate and automate the flow of a
full range of fax, paper and electronic documents and data, enabling
enterprises to achieve significant cost reductions. By using a RightFax
fax server, companies can securely and efficiently deliver business
information from virtually any application via fax, e-mail, print
devices, or over the Internet. Our second product is called Captaris
Alchemy which gives organizations the power to manage and use all of
their fixed content ' including images, faxes, e-mail, PDFs, and COLD '
throughout the information lifecycle management (ILM) stages, with an
integrated and scalable set of tools that are easy to deploy and even
easier to use. Alchemy delivers a complete fixed content management
system that can grow with an organization's information management
needs, with modules that provide capture, workflow, document management,
archiving, records management, integration, retrieval and distribution
at a fraction of the cost to acquire and deploy when compared to
enterprise content management suites. The third product we have is
Captaris Workflow that provides any organization with easy, flexible and
integrated workflow solutions that result in improved productivity,
increased accountability, help with compliancy and added structure
around all processes. Captaris Workflow is tightly integrated with
Microsoft products such as Outlook, SharePoint Services, Content
Management Server, and .NET, so you can manage individual work tasks
within familiar Microsoft programs. Captaris Workflow also integrates
with Captaris RightFax and Captaris Alchemy Document Management to
provide complete document automation solutions. Some examples of some of
the documents that we manage daily with our products are purchase
orders, RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, shipping documents, property records,
licenses, prescriptions, virtually any kind of document. We have also
built integrations into almost any device or enterprise application
allowing us to move documents back and forth throughout an enterprise
environment and manage the processes surrounding them.
