TWST: We would like to begin with a brief sketch of Anesiva and a picture of the things you are doing at the present time.
Mr. McLaughlin: At Anesiva we are looking to be a fully integrated company that is involved with the development, registration, and manufacturing of novel pain management therapeutics. We acquired a company called AlgoRx in late 2005 and now have a series of pain medications in development, the most advanced of which has completed Phase III and others of which are in Phase II or going to start Phase I. We are in the process of preparing to file an NDA on the lead product, 3268, and we recently changed our name from Corgentech to Anesiva to reflect our focus on the commercialization of pain treatment products.

TWST: What about the other things that you are working on?
Mr. McLaughlin: In addition to our pain products, we have a product in development, AvrinaTM, for the treatment of eczema, a chronic skin disease characterized by inflamed itchy skin. We have concluded Phase I/II trials showing this product was safe and well tolerated at the clinically relevant dose, and we are analyzing those results and getting expert feedback to guide the future of this candidate.
