TWST: Could we start out with a quick overview of ThinkEquity Partners?
Ms. Callahan: ThinkEquity Partners is a research-centric institutional investment bank focused on the growth sectors of the economy. Founded on July 1, 2001, by Michael Moe and Deborah Quazzo, ThinkEquity Partners currently provides equity research, institutional sales and trading, and full service investment banking services to growth companies in four growth sectors: technology, health care, media/telecommunications, and knowledge enterprises.

TWST: And you're covering energy technology. How broad a net do you cast?
Ms. Callahan: Energy technology is a sector defined by various alternatives to traditional energy applications and technologies. Most of these technologies are still in a fairly embryonic state, so there are many companies pursuing a wide variety of applications. Some of the verticals within energy technology include power generation technologies (base load, uninterruptible power supply, known as 'UPS' or 'back-up' power, energy storage, power electronics), clean energy (renewable and pollution/emission controls), energy intelligence (improving information flow) and almost anything else that focuses on providing cleaner, more efficient power.
