TWST: Could you provide us a brief overview of what Infosys does?
Mr. Nilekani: Infosys is a world leader in consulting and information technology services, providing a broad range of business consulting, systems integration, application development and product engineering services to Global 2000 companies across the world using our Global Delivery Model.

TWST: Let's talk about your Global Delivery Model. How does that model work and who are some of your customers?
Mr. Nilekani: Infosys' Global Delivery Model is a way to manage large, complex IT solutions or software service solutions by leveraging global resources. It is essentially methodology, a project management and quality technique to take these large projects, disaggregate them into components, get them done in different parts of the world, and then bring it all back together. This model has superior benefits in terms of time-to-market, high quality, predictability, and lower cost of ownership, and we believe this is the model for IT services in the future. We apply the Global Delivery Model for all of our clients all over the world. Our clients include large US corporations like Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, VISA, and retailers Nordstrom and JCPenney, as well as many Global 2000 companies not only in the US but also across the world, such as Toshiba in Japan.
