D.R. Horton, Inc. (NYSE:DHI);

Seven analysts and top management from sixteen sector firms examine the homebuilding industry sector in this special 89-page Homebuilding Industry issue from The Wall Street Transcript, available at (212/952-7433) or http://www.twst.com/info/info506.htm

“The homebuilders group has been performing really well,” notes a leading analyst. “While I think that all of the top five will probably be very rewarding for investors, I would particularly highlight D.R. Horton. They have an outstanding record of 97 consecutive quarters of up revenues and up earnings per year over year. Not one other homebuilder company can compete with D.R. Horton’s record.

“Additionally, I think D.R. Horton’s acquisition of Schuler Homes was a superb management decision by CEO Donald Tomnitz. The timing of the acquisition was key. D.R. Horton contracted the deal shortly after September 11. Of course all of the stocks were badly hit so it worked well for D.R. Horton. Not to mention, it was a real coup for D.R. Horton to come away with a company like Schuler. It should prove very positive for D.R. Horton. Tomnitz made a well-timed, wise decision when he acquired Schuler for D.R. Horton.”
