Mr. Goldsworthy: Applix is a technology company that has been around for nearly 20 years. We've always been known for great technology. Applix originally stood for Applications for Unix. We were the first company to have a complete office suite of products for the Unix environment. We were into the real-time software. In the 1995 time frame, Applix acquired two companies that helped us build our CRM platform called Applix Enterprise, and our planning, budgeting and forecasting platform called Applix TM1. Today, Applix markets, licenses and supports a highly adapatable suite of customer analytics, operational CRM and business planning software solutions.
TWST: Could you expand on the lead products and services within that
suite of solutions?
Mr. Goldsworthy: We have a full suite of CRM solutions: customer service
and support, help desk, sales force automation, partner management,
marketing campaign management and CRM analytics. Applix CRM customers
include large multi-nationals, such as Samsung, Glaxo SmithKline,
Ingersoll Rand, Siemens and Trend Micro. Our CRM solutions are available
in English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. We also offer
an unbeatable multi-dimensional budgeting and forecasting platform that
enables companies to analyze large volumes of data in real time,
including the ability to perform what-if analyses. Our analytics
customers include 50% of the Fortune 500 ' companies like Bristol-Myers
Squibb, Novartis, BP Amoco, Deutsche Bank, Virgin Airways. We've been
very successful in the Global 2000 marketplace. It's very exciting.
