Calgon Carbon Corporation (NYSE:CCC);

Five analysts and top management from eleven sector firms examine the environmental services sector in this special 65-page Environmental Services issue from The Wall Street Transcript, available at (212/952-7433) or http://www.twst.com/info/info460.htm.

“I think that Calgon Carbon is doing a really exceptional job, especially because of their recent decision to focus more on their environmental businesses,” a top environmental analyst praises. “Calgon has a new management team in place. By new management team, I mean they have been there maybe a year and a half. This current management team, headed by CEO Jim Cederna, is doing an excellent job of moving Calgon into more strictly defined environmental areas, but most specifically water purification. By coincidence, water purification has become a very high priority area for most municipalities since September 11. As the concerns over a terrorist attack on our water supplies heighten, Calgon can expect to benefit. I have to give both Cederna and Calgon very high grades for seeing this niche and being in the right place at the right time. Calgon has also been expanding into China. It is a little early yet to comment on Calgon’s expansion into China. I am however, keeping an eye on the situation. Overall, I think Calgon is doing a fabulous job and seems to be positioned to do well going forward.”
