Mr. Chan: We started in 1994 and our major focus at that time was to build up plantation resources in Southern China. After several years of plantation building, we came to a stage where we had enough wood baskets under our control. Then we started into downstream manufacturing facilities. At this point in time, we have a couple of mills operating. The larger one is a particleboard mill in Southern China, which has a capacity of 100,000 m3 per annum. Also, we have a flooring plant in Shanghai, as well as another OSB mill under construction, which is expected to commence commercial production by the end of the year.
TWST: Who are the customers that you're addressing?
Mr. Chan: At this point in time, we are concentrating on domestic
buyers. Basically, there are two kinds. One type would be all the
wholesalers and different builders of all kinds of wood panels. The
others are furniture makers and also, say, loudspeaker makers.
