INTERSIL CORPORATION (Nasdaq:ISIL);

Five analysts and top management from eight sector firms examine the Semiconductor sector in this special 57-page issue from The Wall Street Transcript, available at (212/952-7433) or http://www.twst.com/info/info377.htm

“In my opinion, Greg Williams of Intersil Corporation has done one of the best management jobs in this industry,” says a leading analyst. “He has done a fantastic job of penetrating a very large market opportunity, namely the wireless LAN chip-set industry. He has about 70% market share. Williams has also done a good job at increasing the strategic position of his company. He is not only focusing on the wireless LAN opportunity, but also divesting some of the less sexy, if you will, parts of the business. Intersil sold its power discreet business to Fairchild for about $350 million. This not only increased the revenue growth of the company, but also the profitability. They eliminated their debt and increased their cash position. I think that Williams has done a tremendous amount toward furthering the strength of the company.”

“Intersil is one to watch,” adds another semi expert. “They have a very strong presence in wireless LAN silicon. Williams has done an admirable job.”
