Lord Tim: Chime is a publicly quoted company on the Main Stock Exchange. We’ve been in existence since 1989 and we floated in 1994. At the peak of our success, we had a market capital of 250 million. As a result of the collapse in the marcom sector over the last two years, we now have a market capital of only about 40 million. In our most profitable year we made about 20 million pre-tax. This year we will make probably 7 million. It’s a company that has the entire range of marketing and communication services.
TWST: What’s your main geographic focus?
Lord Tim: We are almost exclusively U.K. We have an office in Germany, and we have an office in South Africa, but they are historical accidents, if you like. We abandoned our international strategy about two years ago when the marcoms market fell apart. We may return to it, but we haven’t at the moment.
