TWST: Could we begin with an overview of Liseberg, including the company history, main services and core markets that you are involved in?
Mr. Wedin: Liseberg is an operator in the leisure field, with the main company in the group being a Theme Park that is 80 years old. All our companies are located in Gothenburg, Sweden and amongst them we have a restaurant company, a hotel, a marina and campgrounds located in the vicinity of the city. The gross turnover of the group this year is around 650 million Swedish Krona (71.6m Euros).

TWST: Which area represents the most growth opportunity for the group?
Mr. Wedin: Overall, the largest is the theme park, which currently accounts for around 70% of our turnover.

TWST: What are the characteristics of your target market and typical visitor to any of the Liseberg locations?
Mr. Wedin: As a theme park, we have about 3.1 million guests, with Sweden having a population of 9 million. So, for us to describe our target audience, we are almost looking at everybody who has the slightest interest in leisure activities such as ours. The age cut-off is very high because we have a longstanding tradition and being a city center park, a lot of people come back over the years. So, we cater to a broad market, but families play a very important role in any theme park and that is our main focus.
