Mr. Betty: EarthLink is the second largest Internet Service Provider in North America with more than 4.7 million subscribers. We ended 2000 with around 1 billion in revenue; that's consistent with what the analysts expected us to achieve. What has continually separated EarthLink from our competition is a focus on delivering the highest quality services, making it easy for users to get connected to the Internet, and then ensuring that they have a successful and pleasurable experience on the Internet.
TWST: Where do you expect most of your growth to come from in the next
year or so?
Mr. Betty: Over the next year or so, we probably will see most of our
growth come from two areas. One in the broadband space; we have built a
very strong platform for growth over the last 18 months. The second area
will be providing users with tools, services, and products that allow
them to take advantage of the emerging mobile Internet environment.
