Mr. Chapdelaine: The company will do approximately 22 million this year. It's divided into two concepts. One is a fast food concept, called Pizzeria Regina, of which we have 13 restaurants that are primarily in food courts in major malls in the Northeast. The other group is called Polcari's North End Italian Restaurant. Those are full-service, mid- priced, Italian-American cuisine with units that average 200 seats. The sales are running approximately 3 million each. We have a commissary system, which supplies both groups with products and we're obviously publicly held.
TWST: Is Polcari's located in Boston only?
Mr. Chapdelaine: Actually, we have three Polcari restaurants in the
greater Boston area. A fourth one will be opening up on Cape Cod in
January. We actually have a franchise in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which is
a franchise that's owned partially by the royal family. But yes, they're
in the Boston metro area and from a strategic point of view, our focus
will be there. The name Polcari's is almost 100 years old in terms of
being known for Italian food in the Boston area. The original Polcari
restaurant was opened in 1954 in Boston's North End which is the Italian
community. Pizzeria Regina opened up in Boston's North End, in 1926 and
the original Regina is the oldest operating pizzeria in the United
States. John Polcari, Sr. came over to the United States in 1909 and
started a grocery business. He and his family have been a part of the
foodservice fiber of the greater Boston area for almost 100 years.
