TWST: Can you tell me about your products, your services and the core markets?

Mr. Edberg: Our wireless data products include modems for narrowband wireless data networks such as CDPD, Mobitex, and Motient (ARDIS). In the Wireline telecom arena we offer ultra low power ICs for analog and digital telephone systems applications such as Caller ID on call waiting, least cost routers and low speed modems. Finally, our analog and digital radio products include semiconductors for Land Mobile Radio, Family Radio Service, PMR446, TETRA and APCO Project 25. I might just add as an example; if you look at the public phone business, there are some cases where the only available power for additional applications, such as a low speed modem, is the power coming off of the phone line itself. Our devices are designed to specifically use such low power that they are able to be used and certified for use in these public phone systems. That is one unique advantage offered by the CML Group (LSE:CML.L).

TWST: What are the growth drivers of the company?

Mr. Edberg: Just to put some numbers on paper, at some of the recent shows, like the Consumer Electronics Show, it was stated that in this past year there were between 7 million and 8 million FRS radios sold in non-captive production houses around the world. This is going to grow to greater than 11 million in 2001. In wireless data, CDPD subscriber growth is expected to experience between 100% to 200% growth over the next two to three years. That is not including any of the growth in in useage of the other available networks, such as Mobitex and Motient.

TWST: Finally is there anything else you would like to add or to highlight?

Mr. Edberg: In our three-pronged growth strategy, when we say that we are partnering with companies, for example with Motient in their Partners Conference, we are working with the major systems providers to supply power efficient components for the equipment manufacturers. This strategy builds our general base of business in addition to growing our market opportunites. So we should see our core business grow. We should also see our market share grow and we should see the ultimate size of the company grow.
