TWST: Could you begin by giving us an overview and some background on Allied Riser?
Mr. Todd: Allied Riser Communications (ARC) is a provider of high-speed, IP-based, broadband data applications and services to the desktops of small and medium-sized enterprises that are located in high-rise buildings within major metropolitan areas. ARC is able to provide these high-speed applications and services to businesses by partnering and securing access agreements with the real estate property owners/managers of these buildings, which allows us to build and deploy our high-speed, always-on ARC LightSpeed Network (a fiber-based communication network infrastructure) within high-rise office buildings. Once the network build-out is complete within the building, we can begin offering services to the tenants located within that individual building. So essentially, we deliver high-speed, IP-based, broadband data applications and services to small and mid-sized customers, who are tenants in high-rise office buildings.

TWST: Who are some of your customers? Are they businesses, for the most part?
Mr. Todd: Again, we target the small to mid-sized business enterprise located within high-rise commercial real estate property. They represent a wide variety of vertical industries, including the financial, legal, professional, engineering and healthcare services industries. They represent big enterprises with thousands of employees, all the way down to a three-person law firm, and/or financial services firm.
