An expert comments on BJ's Wholesale Club (NYSE:BJ) CEO John Nugent's execution and strategy.

“BJ's is executing very well in new store site selection, merchandise mix and cost control. The company has been well positioned as an upscale discounter. It's a unique form of discounting, but BJ's has clearly been able to establish themselves as an upscale retailer with a strong value component, and people love shopping there. I've literally turned away on a Saturday when it's just too damned crowded. I can't stand it. I'd go back, and I know when they're not busy, but Saturdays -- forget it. Nugent has a real affection for the business. He's intensely focused on store development and merchandising. His execution and strategy are right on the market, and the results prove that.”
