TWST: What about new areas of marketing, David? Or would you want to point to anybody doing a particularly good job marketing on the Internet?

Ms. Lee: Well, I think a number of companies have used the Quotesmiths and InsWebs of the world to try to promote their products. I think that's going to become a difficult area to market product and maintain a reasonable margin because the consumer is going to look at the top five names on a ratings list that could number as many as 300 and pick one of those five. So people are going to continue to have to trim their margins to be successful in that type of marketing/distribution avenue. Other areas? Clearly, I think the broker-dealers and the banks have been great ways of growing distribution sources for companies. Hartford Life has been very successful on that side and they will continue to dominate.

I agree that Hartford Life (NYSE:HLI) continues to be an exceptional growth story that is underappreciated by the market. I think there's some concern that the rising lapse rates will slow the overall asset growth. However, I think this is a company that deserves to sell at a significant premium to where it trades today, so that really would be our fourth favorite there. I think one of the negatives also for Hartford is that its 81% ownership by the Hartford really creates the unlikelihood that it will be an acquisition candidate, as consolidation does pick up within the industry.
