Mr. Kircher: Solar Power, Inc., is a vertically integrated solar developer whose core business is developing systems and system sales for solar projects, primarily in the United States. We do that through being an EPC company, engineering, procurement and construction company, where we design and build our own systems. We have our own manufacturing facilities. Right now we have a manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China, where we build solar panels and balance-of-system products to keep our costs competitive with the worldwide market. When we complete these systems and sell them, we retain the asset management portion of that so that we're managing the systems' performance for our customers. We've developed our own proprietary monitoring and metering systems for measuring the output and reliability of the systems that we build, and then we also help to structure the financing for the systems that we sell.
TWST: Would you walk us briefly through each of your product lines? And then, in which of those areas do you see the best potential for growth right now?
Mr. Kircher: Clearly our focus is on system sales, because we think that we have some unique abilities that separate us from other companies in terms of growing revenues and controlling our gross margin by actually developing the solar systems. So our product lines would consist mostly of sales of both distributed generation systems and utility-scale solar systems. In the case of distributed generation, the off-taker of the power is the host site, and in the case of utility-scale systems, the off-taker of the power is going to be the utility itself. Because we have manufacturing operations, we sell our products primarily as complete turnkey, or "kitted" solutions to other developers. To date, this has been primarily throughout Europe and in Korea and Australia.
