Mr. Bennett: The company was started a little over 14 years ago by Jack Friedman and Stephen Berman. Jack Friedman had been an industry veteran for a decades. After he had sold his first public toy company to MCA/Universal, he worked for them for a while and then he started a company called THQ, which is now a very large video game publisher. In 1995 he wanted to get back to his basic toy roots, and he brought Stephen Berman, who he had hired over at THQ to run international with him, and the two of them started JAKKS Pacific. I was actually one of the first four employees, along with one other person. And over the years, we added licenses and did acquisitions, and we went public. And to where we are today, it's been quite an interesting experience, I think, for everybody. Last year we had revenues in excess of 900 million and about 1,000 employees. Depending on the seasonality or cyclicality of our products, we are the third or fourth largest toy company behind Mattel and Hasbro.
TWST: What are some of the company's key products that one might recognize?
Ms. Rosenberg: We have a very diverse portfolio that is filled with licensed products and our own brands. Some of the most notable ones are we do all the Beautiful Princess dresses and Fairies dresses for Disney, all the pretend play products, such as tiaras, pretend kitchens and vanities. We make action figures for UFC and PokŽmon, and we have also make cars and pool floats, as well as a whole range of plug-it-in-and-play TV games and other electronic products.
