TWST: May we start with a short history and overview of BIO-key?
Mr. DePasquale: BIO-key is a leading provider of mobile data solutions for the law enforcement market, as well as advanced finger identification technologies that are ideally suited for large-scale government and commercial applications.

TWST: Would you expand on the two segments of your business, the products, as well as the business dynamics and adoption that you are experiencing?
Mr. DePasquale: First on the law enforcement side, we are one of the largest providers of mobile data access software for the law enforcement space. As you know, most police vehicles are outfitted with laptops, which the law enforcement community refers to as mobile data terminals. With this vital tool, they have access to critical, timely information from dispatch communications to information on motor vehicles, warrants, and guns and boat registrations. We provide the software that delivers the efficient communication for the officer on patrol to access state and local databases, whether that officer is in a vehicle (via a laptop in the patrol car) or not (alternatively running our software on a handheld device such as a BlackBerry or smart phone). We have over 1,000 agencies in the United States that use our software on a daily basis. On the other side of our business, we are one of the largest providers of finger identification solutions for both the government and the commercial marketplace. Our patented biometric technologies allow any application provider to integrate finger biometric identification into virtually any application to establish the identity an individual. Most access applications that we as consumers use today use passwords to establish our identity when accessing information or accounts. BIO-key is able to provide a much more secure and convenient methodology for authenticating individuals with our finger biometric software. We have customers that operate in practically every segment of the economy — in health care, education, financial and general services and of course in the government market as well. We recently announced a significant contract valued at over $2 million with the largest biometric company in the world, Sagem Morpho and Sagem Securite that will be utilizing and incorporating components of our finger biometric technology into their offerings. As a result, they will be offering what is likely the most accurate, scalable and responsive fingerprint identification solutions for finger identification that exist in the world today.
