TWST: What is IWT Tesoro?
Mr. Boucher: IWT Tesoro is an importer, merchandiser and marketer of hard floor and wall covering materials, with a focus on porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone tiles. A Majority of our products comes from Italy, Spain, and Turkey with the balance from South America and China. We started as a private company in 1994, and completed a reverse merger in October 2002, taking the company public, and trading started in December 2003. We have approximately 350 shareholders and the shares trade lightly, over-the- counter Bulletin Board. We distribute our product through four different channels: independent dealers, home center stores, buying groups, and regional wholesalers. .

TWST: Give us an idea of what the competitive landscape looks like. What's the differentiator for your company?
Mr. Boucher: Our differentiator is the amount of time and effort we spend in merchandising and marketing our products so we can make the dealer's job easier. On a daily basis we fulfill and ship any orders that are received by 2 o'clock, that day. In addition we maintain a close working relationship with our suppliers in Europe. This allows us to influence the design process, and meet the market demand for fashion-oriented products as opposed to utilitarian-oriented products.
